About

Ada wakes up in an empty room with no exit.  She's wearing clothes she doesn't recognise as her own. A bright red, “30” is projected onto the wall.

A disembodied voice gives her a simple, impossible challenge: prove that she is alive.

Every time the number counts down, Ada is given a new task designed to assess whether she has that indefinable quality which makes us all human. Will Ada succeed, fail or find a way to fight back against the oppressive system containing her?

This new play by Harry Murdoch and G.G. presents a radical, untested theatrical experiment. When our modern world makes it impossible to take anything at face value, “ADA ISN’T ALIVE” forces you to question your own perception of reality and humanity.
